Winter Fuel Payment Scheme
We are offering to those that need it the most, the opportunity to spread the cost of fuel this winter. As a family owned and run business for 76 years we have seen the adverse effects of spiralling fuel costs and ever more severe winters on our customers. This is our way of giving something back to our community.
If you have received the winter fuel payment in previous years, or receive the State Pension, payments should be made automatically in November or December. Payments will vary between £100 and £300 depending upon circumstances.
Our Scheme offers our customers the option to pay an amount equivalent to their fuel payment and the opportunity to pay the balance of their account over 3 months to help spread the cost.

500litres of heating oil = £320* price only for example, oil prices change on a daily basesHeating oil £320
Winter fuel allowance -£200
=£120
£120 divided by 3 monthly payments = £40 per month to be paid by direct debit.

Do I qualify?
If you were born on or before 5 January 1951 and have received the winter fuel payment in previous years, or receive the State Pension. How do I apply for the Winter Fuel Payment?
All claims for next year must be made by 30th March 2012 for you to receive the payment in either November or December. Call the government winter fuel helpline on 0845 915915 or get a claim form online at www.direct.gov.uk.
How do I apply for the scheme with Chandlers Oil & Gas?
Contact one of members of staff on 08456 202010 quoting “Winter Fuel Payment Offer” and they will be able to set this up for you over the telephone.
Can I order more than 500litres?
At present Chandlers Oil & Gas are only offering this scheme on 500litres.
